Homework is essential but will be assigned daily as a means of review and/or preparation of assignments relevant to class work or other work of a general educational nature.  Homework should be supervised, and signed by a parent/guardian and returned to the teacher neatly written and on time.  To be meaningful to the student, homework should not be regarded as punishment, as a time filler, or as a deterrent against the competitive television.
